ICSI – Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) is one of the advanced methods of in vitro fertilization (IVF), particularly used when male factor infertility is identified.

During ICSI, an embryologist directly injects a single sperm into a female egg using special micromanipulation. This method significantly increases the chances of fertilization in cases where sperm count or motility is reduced, or when sperm have difficulty penetrating the egg independently.
